Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): In-house training from a law firm or law clerk program

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Word processing, Spreadsheet, Database management, Legal software applications

Type of Legal Experience (Legal or Law Clerks Only): Family

Type of Establishment Experience: Legal firm

Legal or Law Clerk Specific Skills: Prepare legal documents, court reports and affidavits, Record keeping

Security and Safety: Bondable

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail, Large caseload

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Air conditioned

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
